Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23, 1970. The first time she appeared on screen was in Cordelia Chase, a supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999–2004). She also starred with Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012 strong>

 



 

  Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine who is a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandmother), French, German and German descent. Carpenter was an undergraduate at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] She was also part of a dance and song group that performed in the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was just nine years old.

 



 

  Carpenter was Carpenter was 15 years old, her family moved to Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico[2] and then relocated to San Diego, California. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter went on a trip across Europe after her graduation. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, as an aerobics teacher, as well property management. In 1991, she played cheerleader with the San Diego Chargers. In 1992, she moved from San Diego to Los Angeles.

 



 

  Henry Hubbard Jr. was a former San Diego officer and serial criminal who tried to control her and two of her male acquaintances as they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. Both of her friends and Hubbard were killed during the struggle. Hubbard fled the scene as her fellow comrades survived. Hubbard was arrested, found guilty, and sentenced to 56 years in prison for a series of rapes and robberies. Carpenter carried Hubbard's police-issued flashlight to the beach which he had abandoned at the scene and the flashlight ended up being a key piece of evidence used against him.

 



 

  Carpenter was ranked No. 31 on AskMen's Top 99 Most Desirable Women 2002[30[30.] as well as No. 44 on their 2005 list. In spite of this, Carpenter has stated she is not sexually explicit. Carpenter was on the cover of Playboy magazine's June 2004 issue. The magazine also included her in a ten page nude pictorial. People magazine asked her 2005 whether she would pose again for Playboy. Playboy was something I did with a purpose. Playboy was more than an excellent financial choice, but also a good match for my present circumstances. My son was only born and I had gained 50 pounds during the course of my pregnancy. I wanted to look like my former self. I wanted to be beautiful and sexy. So I wondered, "What could I do if I went all out'
